Anyone know how to reinstall Microsoft IMA ADPCM Codec. Nov 17, 2017 Tonight, I re-installed the software for the tape recorder intending to transfer an audio file. Unfortunately, my computer running Windows 8.1 apparently no longer has the IMA ADPCM codec anymore because I was able to transfer files from the tape recorder to my PC a while back; but not anymore. Can someone please help me solve this?
Feedback im assuming the problem i am having is a codec or driver issue as well, however, after many months of trying to figure this out, im ready to send this system sailing into the backyard.heres my problem.i have a dell latitude d610, for which i have installed the nr2003 racing season game on. All sounds on the laptop are fine, except when i fire up the game, and clik my drive button, my racecar sounds nothing like a regular racecar, it has a high pitched sound, like an indy car, for those who are nascar savy. I cant determine with the current sound, when to shift gears and such, which tends to get unnerviing considering the fact that its a vital part of the game to know how and when to do, so any advice would be awesome!, tried drivers of all sorts, reinstalling windows xp, rolling back drivers, etc. Nothing seems to be making a difference.thanks for your assistance.impatiently awaiting your responses.dpotts. It is the second from the top, under the auth list. 4) Tab “Owner”. 5) “Change” button. 6) Choose owner in the appeared list and click “OK”. You will need to be under the owner’s account for next steps (C.O.) 7) Return to the “Security” tab. Choose the acc and click “Change” (button right under the acc list). 8) Check all in “Allow”, press “OK”.
9) Now you can replace you files. (the one for WinXP works fine on my sys). 10) The same steps for SysWOW64 folder (BACKUP will save the world!) And the last one: DO NOT play with your system’s folders.
